About Us
Project: Ruffle Swap
We started Project: Ruffle Swap in July 2009 to provide a website where gently-worn dresses are "swapped". Our goal is to recycle and re-use bridesmaids dresses and other dresses you wear only once.
Bethaney earned her BS degree from James Madison University in 2002 and will earn her MBA from Georgetown this spring. She is an After Sales Product and Process Quality Specialist for a luxury automotive company in the DC area. She's currently planning her 10/2010 wedding.
Sam earned her BA from the University of Delaware in 2000. And later attended school at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) in NYC to study advertising design. She interned and freelanced at Giorgio Armani’s New York office and is currently an Art Director at one of the largest advertising agencies in Baltimore, MD.
Samantha and Bethaney Rider are Baltimore, Maryland natives.
